As the Coronavirus continues to impact us all, we hope you are all staying safe in these strange times. It’s been hard to watch a lot of our hospitality friends shut their doors in the last few weeks and our hearts go out to all the countless businesses that will be impacted. For us at DEEDS, we will continue producing great beer, so that we can keep our amazing staff employed and weather the storm. In this unprecedented time, please support your local businesses as much as you can so that they can all make it through to the other side of this.

Although you won't be able to drink our great beer in a bar or pub, you will still be able to get our beer at your local craft bottle shop, on our online store, as well as numerous other online stores that offer local or national deliveries.

As part of our strategy to evolve with the changing times we have focused a lot of effort on our online store, offering new purchase options to our fans like the mixed 16 packs and also gift card options. We’ve also been thinking about ways in which we can use our brewery equipment to help the current situation of COVID-19 as well as keep our staff working. It all led to a product that we could make that worked with our setup and that is the hand sanitiser refill.

As we’ve got a canning line and bottling line, we decided to make the hand sanitiser as a refill option and in a can. All you have to do is re-fill your empty spray bottle with the contents of our 330ml can.

A hand sanitiser in a beer can, that’s different you might say, yes it is but it’s also recyclable and we are using our old session ale cans that would have otherwise been scrapped, all positives.

Our hand sanitiser is using the the official WHO formulation and contains the following ingredients:

• Ethanol

• Distilled Water

• Glycerine

• Hydrogen Peroxide

We will continue to produce our great core range as well as 4 limiteds per month, and now you can also purchase hand sanitiser refill from our online store here.
